The Masonic Hall will be open for tours this year during Franklin’s Main Street Festival! Come learn about Franklin’s history in the town’s oldest public building. From Franklin’s settlement at the turn of the 19th century, to Indian removal and the economic boom of the 1850s, to Federal occupation during the Civil War and the upheaval of Reconstruction — the prominent men who were members of Hiram Lodge No. 7 played influential roles through it all.
Tours are both days, cost $10, begin on the hour, and last approximately 45 minutes.
Saturday, April 27th: The first tour is at 10 A.M. and the last at 3 P.M.
Sunday, April 28th: The first tour is at 12 P.M. and the last at 4 P.M.
